Nuclear power conditioning device
Description
Purpose: To extend the range between high and low powers without moving control rods in a power conditioning device for a BWR type reactor having a load following-up control device that changes the reactor power by the movement of the control rods. Constitution: The pressure control device is adapted to change the pressure setting point upon receiving a demand signal for pressure setting from the load following-up control device. When a load demand signal is issued from a central power supply instruction station, the signal is transmitted to the load following-up control device. The load following-up control device transmits a demand signal for recycling flow rate of a recycling flow rate control device and a control rod drive signal to control rod drives. Further, the demand signal for pressure setting is transmitted to the pressure control device. Since the principle that the reactor power is decreased upon lowering the reactor pressure by the generation of voids which weakens the moderating effect of neutrons can be utilized in this case, the range between high and low powers can be extended without moving control rods in a case where the reactor pressure is changed simultaneously.
