Magnetic properties, phase transitions and magnetic hysteresis in (Tbsub(1-x)Gdsub(x))sub(3)Co compounds
Description
Investigated are concentration dependences of parameters of the crystal lattice, temperatures of magnetic transitions, magnetic moment, magnetocrystal anisotropy, as well as magnetostructural phase transitions induced by the magnetic field along various crystallographic directions in monocrystals of (Tbsub(1-x)Gd)sub(3)Co(0<=X<=1) compounds. Temperature dependences of anisotropy fields, critical fields of magnetic transitions and coercive force are measured. The qualitative explanation of the observed regularities in alterations of magnetic characteristics in the case of alteration of gadolinium concentration and the temperature of the compound, is given. Magnetohard monocrystals with magnetic energy up to 100 million GsxOe at cryogen temperatures
