Description
An overview of natural gas production, consumption and imports for the years 1970-2020 for the residential, commercial, industrial and electric generation sector was provided. The discussion included a scenario for electricity generation and cogeneration capacity additions by fuel type (natural gas, coal, renewables), for the years 1996-2020, costs for new electricity generation plants, various forecasts in natural gas production by source, net imports, reserve additions by technology, reserves by type, economically recoverable resources for various periods up to 2020, consumption in North America, and expected trend in natural gas wellhead prices. tabs., figs
