Description
During 18 months 102 patients with breast carcinoma were irradiated postoperatively by telecobalt irradiation. The homogeneous dose distribution in the operative region was reached with individual treatment planning. This procedure requires a scout CT scan (the first generation Medicor-Pfizer equipment satisfies this demand). Authors developed a program which is written on a PC to prepare dose plans. The variety of medial and lateral radiation field setting is illustrated with 3 dose plans. (author) 5 refs.; 4 figs
