Measurement of the average energy of the proton beam from the Dubna synchrotron by the double reflection method by using Vavilov-Cherenkov radiation
- 1. Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, Laboratory of Nuclear Problems, Moscow, USSR
Description
The mean energy of the proton beam extracted from the synchrocyclotron of the Laboratory of Nuclear Problems has been obtained to be (635.2 +- 0.4) MeV by means of the double reflection method using Vavilov-Cherenkov radiation. Data on the effect of various factors on the measurement accuracy and its resolving power are presented. (Auth.)
