Correction of a measured distribution for the finite extension of the detector
Description
Simple analytic expressions have been derived for the correction of a measured distribution for the finite extension of the detector in use. The expressions are simple to apply as they are only based on the actually measured data and on the size of the detector. The expressions are applied to two situations encountered in radiation dosimetry. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
Die Verteilung der endlichen Ausdehnung eines verwendeten Detektors wurde gemessen. Fuer die Korrektur dieser Messung wurden einfache analytische Ausdruecke abgeleitet, die leicht anzuwenden sind, da sie nur auf tatsaechlich gemessenen Daten und der Groesse des Detektors beruhen. Die Ausdruecke werden auf zwei in der Strahlendosimetrie vorkommende Situation angewendet. (orig.)Additional details
