The structure, magnetic and related properties of the semimetallic, semiconducting and ionic compounds of actinides

In the present review we discuss the structure, magnetic and related properties of those semimetallic, semiconducting and ionic compounds of actinides which have been investigated during the last two years. The special interest is devoted to the cubic systems with Th3P4 type of crystal structure. Up to now this group of compounds bas been given considerably less attention than for example the NaCl-type compounds because of their higher degree of complexity. Also the results obtained for the tetragonal uranium ternaries as well as some ionic compounds of uranium (IV) and (V) are presented. Recent inelastic neutron scattering experiments are reviewed
