Dependence of the friction tensor on angular momentum and temperature

Description
The axial and non-axial components of the friction tensor were evaluated within the zero frequency limit of linear response theory. Calculations were performed for 238U and for deformations corresponding to the first and to the second minimum. A rotating, three-axial Nilsson potential was used to describe the intrinsic degrees of freedom. It was found that the axial component of the friction tensor grows significantly with the rotational frequency, while the non-axial component decreases. Both components grow with the temperature.
