Instrumental neutron activation analysis with the detector Si (Li)

Description
Procedure ki has been applied using absolute activities issued by a calibrated Si(Li) detector used as a Low Energy Photon Detector (LEPD). Such detector with a high resolution can improve the quality of analytical results in INAA, particularly for monoenergetic radionuclides and those decaying by electronic capture and other nuclear phenomena such as Auger electrons, etc... and having electromagnetic rays, χ and γ, ranging in the region of 60-150 keV region where Ge detector is less performant, such as 153Sm 153Gd, 159Gd, 141Ce, 166Ho, 170Tm,...
