Synthesis of Li3BaSrGd3(MoO4)8 doped with Ce3+ ions

Description

The Li3BaSrGd3(MoO4)8:Ce3+ phosphor was synthesized by solid-state reaction and studied by X-ray diffraction analysis, differential-thermal analysis, and IR spectroscopy. The Li3BaSrGd3(MoO4)8:Ce3+ crystallizes in the monoclinic structure with space group C2/c, Z = 2. The luminescence properties of this resulting phosphor are characterized by photoluminescence (PL) emission spectra and excitation (PLE). (paper)
