Description

The principles of alloying nickel alloys are considered with a view to creating materials resistant to the cracking of the weld zone as a result of heating during welding. It is shown that alloying with niobium, molybdenum, vanadium, titanium and aluminium leads to the formation of the strengthening phases Ni3(Ti, Al), Ni3(Nb, Al) and carbides providing for the structural stability during heating. Such alloys are recommended for use in the production of the deformed and cast parts of welded equipment used at temperatures up to 800 deg C
