Electric transition strengths and (e,e') form factors for the first 2+ and 3- states in the even Sn isotopes

Description
The Baranger formalism for the structure of spherical nuclei is applied to the first 2+ and 3- states in the even Sn isotopes. Reduced electric transition strengths and (e,e') form factors for these states are calculated. The results compare satisfactorily with recently measured data. (Auth.)
