Description

Complexing of anhydrous lanthanide nitrates with diantipyrylmethane (L) in nonaqueous media has been studied by the method of UV- and IR spectroscopy. Formation of complexes with the ratio Ln(NO3)3:L=1:1 in dioxane solution has been ascertained. In crystal state complexes of Ln(NO3)3·L have been isolated, their individually being confirmed by chemical and X-ray phase analyses. By the method of IR spectroscopy it has been shown that the ligand is coordinated in the complex via oxygen atoms of two carbonyl groups. 15 refs., 4 figs., 3 tabs
