Description

Cross sections for α-t coincidences were measured at energies of astrophysical relevance in non-resonant breakup of 42 MeV-7Li by various targets. The data have revealed delayed nature of non-resonant breakup over the Gamow energy region arising from the tunneling through the Coulomb barrier between the two constituent clusters. Quantitative discussions on meanlives of continuum states and post-Coulomb acceleration are presented
