Description
This paper shows a general description of the APOGEE program, which is used in Canberra Series 90 Multichannel Analyzer System, at Almirante Alvaro Alberto Nuclear Center. The System is fully automated and is coupled to a DIGITAL PDP-11/24 computer. APOGEE is a program able to analyse high resolution, highly complex gamma spectra, such as the spectra from the reactor coolant water, obtained from Ge(Li) or Hp Ge detectors. At the end of analysis, the computer gives the reports required by the analyst. (author)
