Magnetic relaxation in Cobalt doped Ni-Zn ferrites
Description
Frequency and temperature dependence of permeability (μ') and magnetic loss factor (tan delta) on cobalt doped ferrites were investigated. It was found that the relaxation occurs only in the presence of Co2+ and Co3+ ions. The shape of the μ''(μ') diagrams suggests a distribution of the relaxation times. This distribution was found by using a model proposed by Krupicka and Roskovec. As for the relaxation mechanism, the electronic hopping Co2+ and Co3+ via Fe3+ seems to be the most probable one
