- 1. Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur 208016 (India)
- 2. Department of Mechanical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur 208016 (India)
Description
Highlights: • HEAs with varying Pb and Bi concentration were synthesized using mechanical alloying followed by consolidation with spark plasma sintering. • The alloys exhibited high hardness and excellent wear resistance properties. • Oxidative wear mechanism was observed to be dominant wear mechanism.
