Description
Applicability of isoparaffine diluents in extraction regeneration of NPP spent fuel is considered. Concentrates of isoparaffines C10-C16 with a tertiary carbon atom are obtained. Radiation-chemical stability is investigated. It is shown that using isoparaffines instead of n-paraffines as the tbp diluent permits substantially to increase plutonium and thorium concentration in an extragent without danger of metal-containing extract lamination
