Virtual plasma-wave echoes

Description

"Virtual" temporal echoes which are predicted by the theory of Gould and O'Neil are seen in the results of a numerical simulation of plasma wave echoes by the distribution pushing method and are shown to be observable if the pulse interval and the lifetime of the primary response are comparable.
