Inversion permanent TbFe2Hx hydride base magnet

Description
Aimed to manufacture an inversion permanent magnet a study was made into temperature dependences of magnetization and coercive force in RF2Hx hydrides (R-Tb, Er, Ho) at various x values. TbFe2Hx hydrides with x=4 are found out to possess the best magnetic properties. Inversion permanent magnets were prepared from hydride powder by isotropic pressing. Residual magnetization of magnets varied from +5 at 290 K to -15Axm2/kg at 77 K. 7 refs.; 3 figs
