Detection of strength anomaly of ZrV2 superconducting compound

Description
An effect of extreme weakening of the ZrV2 superconducting compound is observed at the point of the martensite transformation Tsub(m) approximately 100 K. The strength minimum at this point is strongly displayed in the samples with a high degree of atomic ordering and is weakly displayed in the samples without ordering annealing. The weakening in Tsub(m) is assumed to be related to the production of a large number of ''structural domains'', weakening of their boundaries and also to an increase in internal stresses
