Progenitor cell isolation with a high-capacity quadrupole magnetic flow sorter

Description

Rapid and efficient sorting is important for progenitor cell isolation. Therefore, we have built and evaluated a high-speed, continuous flow, quadrupole magnetic sorter. The cross-over behavior of non-magnetic particles, combined with separation theory is used to optimize performance. CD34+ progenitor cells are separated to purities from 64-95% and a throughput of 107 cells/s
