Laser anemometry in liquids and gases
Creators

Description
An introduction to the subject of laser anemometry is provided and the relative advantages of the technique demonstrated and quantified by reference to particular experiments. The measurable flow properties are stated and compared with those which have been measured; the reasons for the difference can readily be inferred from the text. The specification of the constituent components of a laser anemometer is considered and the need to match these specifications to each other and to the flow configuration is emphasised
