Quarkyonic chiral spirals in a magnetic field

Description
Full text: Mapping the QCD phases for different regions of temperature and densities is one of the key ongoing projects in the nuclear and particle physics community. In this talk I will discuss the Quarkyonic Chiral Spiral ground state, which has been recently proposed to characterize one of the regions of the QCD phase map. I will start with an introduction to Quarkyonic Matter and the formation of a chiral spiral condensate at high baryon density and then will discuss how this ground state is modified by the presence of an external magnetic field.
