Charge-exchange 1 GeV-proton scattering on nuclei

Analysed are experimental data on the charge-exchange scattering of 1 GeV protons on the 7Li, 9Be, sup(10,11)B, 12C, 16O, 19F, sup(24,25,26)Mg, 27Al, sup(40,44)Ca, sup(116, 124)Sn, 181Ta and natural isotopic mixture of Cu and Pb nuclei within the frames of Glauber diffractional theory. It is shown, that the investigation of this process provides a new possibility to get information concerning neutron distribution inside nuclei. Parameters of neutron spatial distribution in these nuclei are determined for several calculation variants. For most nuclei the obtained values of neutron mean square radius (m.s.r.) turned to be ose to proton m s r. An essential difference is observed in two cases: for 9Be nucleus neutron m.s.r. essentially exceeds the proton one; for Pb nucleus the obtained experimental data point out either exceeding of neutron m.s.r. as compared with the proton one in 0.2-0.4 Fm, or an essential value of the diffusivity parameter for neutrons
