Description

The production of vector mesons p0 and Ksup(*+-) has been studied in e+e- annihilation at an average C.M. energy of 35 GeV. The production rate per event, extrapolated to the full xsub(E) range was found to be 0.98 +- 0.09 +- 0.15 for rho0 and 0.87 +- 0.16 +- 0.08 for Ksup(*+-). The scaled differential cross section s/β(dsigma/dxsub(E)) for both p0 and Ksup(*+-) production has been measured. The ratio of pseudoscalar to vector meson production has been determined for p0, Ksup(*+-), eta and Dsup(*) production. Its mass dependence has been investigated. (orig.)
