Spectroscopy of nonstrange baryons: Recent results from PNPI

Description
A summary of experiments carried out at PNPI in the framework of the general program for studying πp elastic scattering is given. Results of the phase shift analysis PNPI-94 performed using new experimental data are discussed. The new setup built at PNPI for measuring DCS of π-p charge exchange scattering is described briefly and the first preliminary results are presented. New spin rotation data obtained recently for π+p elastic scattering by the PNPI-ITEP collaboration are presented; these new results lead to the conclusion that Tables of PDG need to be revised in part concerning characteristics of πN resonances
