Description
The muon differential energy spectrum at sea level, the muon production altitudes, and the lateral distributions of muons at 1700 m above sea level have been calculated, and the results for primary p, 4He, 14A and 56A, are presented. The results are used to determine the primary composition of cosmic rays from experimental data recorded at the Nuclear Research Institute of the USSR Academy of Sciences
