Description
Bremsstrahlung spectra in coincidence with scattered protons have been measured near the 12C(p, p) 1734 keV resonance with two photon and four proton detectors. By simultaneously measuring the bremsstrahlung spectra for protons scattered at THETApsub(c)sub(m) = 900 and at the desired angle (THETApsub(c)sub(m) = 1590), we have obtained reliable values for the phase difference and the time delay as well as for the absolute bremsstrahlung cross section.
