Response of hippocampal pacemaker-like neurons to low doses of ionizing radiation
Description
Spontaneous discharges of hippocampal pacemaker-like neurons are induced by X- and γ-rays doses lower than 0.8 cGy. The effect is direct and connected with the activation of an endogenous mechanism of unit activity generation. (author)
