A short review is made of the pathological effects of ionizing radiations. The basic safety standards for the various categories of persons likely to be exposed to radioactive radiation or materials are developed as well as their significance and the mind governing their application

Apres le rappel de quelques notions sur les effets pathologiques des rayonnements, on expose les normes fondamentales de securite qui s'appliquent aux differentes categories de personnes susceptibles d'etre exposees aux rayonnements ou aux substances radioactives, ainsi que leur signification et l'esprit dans lequel elles doivent etre appliquees
