Synthesis of YBa2Cu3Ox under O2 pressure and its superconductivity
Description
Conventional synthesis of YBa2Cu3Ox from the metal oxides was followed by exposure at 5500C to 80 atm O2 gas for 4 h. The resulting material has only a slightly higher superconducting transition temperature Tc (97.7 versus 97.0 K) than the one prepared in air. 5 refs
