Factor ordering and ghost variables
Description
It is shown that, by using ghost variables, one can develop a covariant operator constraint formalism which maintains a Hilbert space structure and, reproduces the quantised physical theory. The explicit ordering for observables that are linear and quadratic in the momenta is presented. (orig.)
