Fine structure of the 160gHo(25.6m) and 160mHo(5.02 h) β+/EC decay strength functions

Description
The β-decay strength function Sβ(E) reflect the distribution of the squared β-decay type nuclear matrix element with respect to the excitation energy E of the daughter-nucleus states. For β-transition the level occupancy I(E) of the daughter nucleus after the β+/EC-decay or β- -decay and half-life T1/2 are considered. From the experimental data analysis the β+/EC- strengths (B(GT), [B(λπ=0-) + B(λπ=1-)], B(λπ =2-)) for 160gHo (25.6m) and for 1:60mHo (5.02h) β+/EC-decays were obtained. Splitting of the peaks in GT Sβ(E) connected with deformation was observed. Details of the β+/EC- strengths fine structure are discussed
