High pressure studies on superconducting materials

Description
A review of the high pressure studies made by the authors on the recent high Tc superconducting oxide materials has been presented. Both high pressure electrical resistivity and high pressure X-ray diffraction studies have been carried out on Lasub(2-x)AxCuO (where A=Sr, Ba), RBa2Cusub(3-x) MxOsub(7-y) (R=Y, Gd, Dy, Ho and Pr, M=Fe) and Lasub(1+x)Ba(2-x)Cu3Osub(7-y) oxides at room temperature. A brief description of the experimental set up employed has also been presented. (author). 22 refs., 12 figs
