Description
The hydrolysis of indium(III) has been investigated by potentiometric titration at 250C in 0.10 mol dm-3 potassium nitrate. Data treatment by our version of MINIQUAD has shown the 'best' model to be [In(OH)]2+, [In(OH)2]+, and [Insub(p)(OH)sub(p)]sup(2p+); the -log βsub(pq) values for these species are estimated to be 4.31 (0.003), 9.35 (0.01), and 7.32 (0.006) (p = 4) or 9.12 (0.009) (p = 5) respectively, the estimated standard deviations being given in parentheses.
