Schroedinger quantization of affine mechanical systems

The models of an affinely-rigid body and a breathing top, based on the Lie groups GL(n, R) and SL(n, R) respectively, are considered; a detailed treatment of the Schroedinger quantization for various affine systems is given, especially the quantum description of isotropic models on GL+(3, R).
