Spin-spin asymmetries and flavour dependence in large angle elastic scattering
Description
Spin effects in large P sub(perpendicular) elastic nucleon-nucleon scattering are studied using the quark interchange mechanism. The role of the spectator quarks and the additivity frame is pointed out. Using the Gottfried-Jackson frame for the additivity assumption, a good agreement with the data can be obtained. (orig.)
