On amplification of a monochromatic wave by an electron beam in a nonlinear plasma

Description
A stationary amplification of a monochromatic langmuir wave by an electron beam is considered with taking into account the self-action effect which is due to the change in the plasma density under the action of high-frequency pressure. It is shown that the maximum amplitude of the field amplified may be less than that in the case of linear plasma
