Nature of narrow and anomalous narrow resonances in atoms of rare earth elements and their negative ions

Description
Classification of narrow and anomalous narrow low-lying (within the 15000 cm-1 above ionization limit) of complex atom resonances is presented. On the example of the Yb- ion and Lu atom bsn1l1n2l2 autoionization states and of the Lu atom 5d3 states energy possible state decay are analysed. Upper limits of autoionization widths of the states under consideration are given
