Investigation of dependence of values of theoretical corrections on sample chemical composition during X-ray spectral analysis of steels

Description
To establish the mutual effect of elements in x-ray spectral analysis of multicomponent homogeneous materials a method for theoretical corrections is proposed. The efficiency of the method has been verified by analysing steels and alloys. The method is substantiated, and the dependence of the correction coefficients for steels on the composition of the standard specimen is investigated. The relationship between the values of the correction coefficients and the absorbing characteristics of the specimen is established
