Diffusion form of transport equation and the kinetic diffusion method for the the subcritical systems analyses

Description
The kinetic transport method is proposed for solving the multidimensional neutron transport problem for subcritical systems. The main idea of this method is that the original one-velocity Boltzmann equation is expressed in a form structurally fully equivalent to the conventional diffusion equation without assumptions or approximations. The diffusion forms of transport equations for isotropic and non-isotropic scattering and an external sources are obtained. For validation of the diffusion kinetic method, a set of calculations of the Milne problem involving different types of media and scattering kernels are performed. Results of numerical calculations of the Milne problems are presented

Для решения многомерной задачи переноса нейтронов в подкритических системах предлагается использовать метод кинетического переноса. Основная идея этого метода заключается в том, что обычное одно-скоростное уравнение Больцмана выражется в виде структурно полностью эквивалентном обычному диффузионному уравнению без каких-либо допущений и аппроксимаций. Получены диффузионные формы транспортных уравнений для изотропного и неизотропного рассеяния и внешнего источника. Для проверки правильности диффузионного кинетического метода проведены расчеты задачи Милна для различных типов среды и ядер рассеяния.
