Description
A novel transmission curved crystal spectrometer is described for hard X-ray measurements in the energy range of 10-60 keV. The spectrometer is based on a cylindrical curved quartz crystal. The curvature radius is 112 mm and the spacing of the crystal lattice is 0.4256 nm. The experiment utilizes a Mo X-ray tube as the light source and the spectrometer is set perpendicular to the axis about 700 mm distance. Two characteristic spectra are symmetrically recorded by image plate clearly and the experiment is well consistent with theoretical analysis. The error analysis shows that the aim accuracy is the main factor. (authors)
