Investigation of anode plasma dynamics in the magneto-insulated diode of the ion accelerator Cobra by laser deflectometry modified technique

Description

The methodology of laser deflectometry is developed for studies on the anode plasma dynamics in the Cobra ion accelerator diode. Optical system, applied in the laser deflector diagnostics, is described. The refraction index gradient in the anode plasma of the mega-volt magneto-insulated diode, distribution of the layer refraction index during the pulse and the electrons average density in the layer are measured
