Method for the denitration of highly radioactive waste solutions

Description

The radioactive solution is mixed with formaldehyde solution or para-for maldehyde and sodium nitrate, as well as ortho-phosphoric acid solution or NaH2PO4 and is denitrated at 1000C. Furthermore, C6H8O7 x H2O phosphate can be used as buffer. The para-formaldehyd is in powder form. (DG)

Abstract (German)

Die radioaktive Loesung wird mit Formaldehydloesung oder Paraformaldehyd und Natriumnitrat sowie Orthophosphorsaeureloesung oder NaH2PO4 vermischt und bei 1000C denitriert. Weiterhin kann als Puffer C6H8O7 x H2O-Phosphat eingesetzt werden. Das Paraformaldehyd liegt als Pulver vor. (DG)
