Description
The super heavy elements (SHE) up to Z=118 have been recently produced and studied at various laboratories around the world. The associated γ-process progenitors along the waiting points are briefly discussed for which Relativistic Mean Field (RMF) calculations are in progress. Our preliminary findings are qualitatively supportive of the hypothesis that the γ-process may not be able to create the observed SHE in nature
