Sidereal time variation of small air showers observed at Mt. Norikura

Description

Observation of omni-directional small air showers was continued from 1973 to 1975, utilizing a part of multi-directional large area cosmic ray telescope at Mt. Norikura. Similar result to the previous observation's (1970-1972) was obtained, showing a statistically signigicant sidereal diurnal anisotropy (Amp. = 0.050%, phase = 0.8 h.) (orig./WBU)

Abstract (German)

Die Beobachtung isotroper kleiner Luftschauer wurde von 1973 bis 1975 fortgesetzt, wobei ein Teil des grossflaechigen Vielrichtungsteleskops fuer kosmische Strahlen am Mt. Norikura verwendet wurde. Es wurden aehnliche Resultate wie bei frueheren Beobachtungen (1970-1972) erzielt, die eine statistisch signifikante taegliche Anisotropie nach der Sternzeit zeigen (Amp. = 0,050% Phase = 0.8 h).
