Fast neutron radiotherapy--an overview

Fast neutron radiotherapy has been employed worldwide in the last two decades in the treatment of a variety of advanced malignancies. The basic principles behind neutron treatment will be summarized in this article, along with results to date of a number of clinical trials evaluating the effectiveness and toxicity of neutron radiotherapy. 7 references
