Estimation of reliability for safety I and C system (TXS system) in Taiwan NPP

Description
This paper describes the estimation of failure rate for TXS system in Tianwan NPP, induces some usual formulas for estimation of failure rate of reactor trip system and ESFAS system. According to the result of the calculation of failure rate of AA14 (Reactor trip because of the failure in main water/main steam system) and BB11(actuation of emergency water system), the result proves that the reliability of TXS system in Tianwan NPP satisfies the requirement.
