On the particle interpretation of the scalar field in Rindler space

In this letter a stringent physical argument is suggested which allows one to answer the question whether the particle interpretation of the Klein-Gordon field in Minkowski space and that in Kindler space are or not equivalent. It is concluded that the two descriptions cannot be physically equivalent
